Presentation Title:
Mobile Data and Privacy
Abstract:
Data collected from mobile and IoT devices can enable novel applications but also pose significant privacy and security threats. In this talk, Athina Markopoulou will first describe research highlights from our group on mobile network monitoring and mobile data analytics, with emphasis on privacy leaks, ad blocking, and user tracking. Then, she will provide an overview of privacy-preserving techniques for mobile data crowdsourcing.
